    USF is a complete educational institution and has received exempt approval from Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC)



    USF provides comprehensive training in Information Technology  that gives students' confidence to work independently.
    USF Educational Center Provides Basic and Advanced Computer Skills Training Program that meets demographic and socio-economic needs of people in our Community. USF Educational Center Provides Students with Hands-on experience and skills development training necessary to support Personal Computer PC and Laptop.

    USF has qualified English and Spanish trainers that provide both basic and advanced training in Information Technology and Telecommunications. USF provides instructor-led training in computer technology that best prepares our graduates to compete in the job market.


    Don Kroah, from  WAVA 105.1 FM; a Fairfax based radio station was a special guest at the launching of  1st Prince George's Classroom On Wheels. He was presenting a certificate of completion toThomas Johnson Middle School  7th Grader who graduated from our comupter skills training. The 7th grader was able to build a Computer during his training.
    USF Educational Center is well-equipped to provide training for Children K- 12. USF Educational Center provides training in mathematics, reading and information technology opportunity that best prepares children for next century career.

    In compliance with No Child Left Behind Initiative; All our training programs are designed to help students K-12 to achieve their educational potentials. USF deploys Kaplan Reading Empowerment Software, which incorporates the essential components of reading instructions as defined by the National Reading Panel.

    United Support Foundation USF is a tax-exempt under 26 U.S.C. (501) (c) (3) educational institution that provides quality instructor-led training in Information Technology.

    USF has within four (4) years of existence offered free instructor-led training in Information Technology to two thousand five hundred (2500) people in different areas of Information Technology and Telecommunications.

    USF training is focused on low and moderate income individuals. Targeted participants are men and women with an aptitude and interest in the work and with a strong desire to enter and stabilize themselves and their families as a result of regular employment. Our training addresses employment needs of low and moderate income and employment training for families and individuals.

    Verizon Foundation has provided financial donation in the amount of thirty thousand U.S dollars (30,000.00) in support of our quality free training program. Verizon has demonstrated how corporate gifts can be extended through a belief in the power of career education. Verizon will always remain a role model for and an inspiration to corporate entities everywhere.



    USF exhibited 1st Prince George's Classroom On Wheels at the Kidfest held at Washington Convention on November 13th 2004. Kids were registered for Our After School Programs.
    USF has registered one hundred (100) Children K-12 for the After School Training Program at the Kidfest held at Washington Convention Center on November 13, 2004. USF exhibited 1st Prince George's Classroom On Wheels at the Kidfest. Lion's Club International officially invited our Classroom on Wheels to participate in the Kidsfest.

    USF is an effective change agent that currently affecting the lives of youths, elderly, and people with disabilities in our community. We are committed to job-readiness training to the youths, welfare recipients, single parent, low-income, unemployed, veterans and the economically disadvantaged in our community.

     

    USF Educational Center Provides Training Program that helps students prepare for Vendor Proctor Examinations, such as MCP, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CIW A+ and Network Essentials Certifications, which are industry-wide, vendor neutral programs developed and sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA).



    1st Prince George's County Classroom On Wheels is equipped with Cutting edge Technology, which Includes: Profile III Systems; Plasma TV and Data Storm Satellite Dish

    USF provides free basic and advanced computer skills training.

    Classroom On Wheels is the 1st Prince George's County training on wheels initiative that meets unemployed and underemployed residents where they live. Residents that cannot afford to travel to our Main Campus no longer will have to worry about accessibility of training.

    USF is creating a successful future for people in our community by providing quality free instructor-led training in Information Technology to members of our community that best prepares them to compete in the job market.

    USF's Classroom on Wheels is designed to travel to different communities and schools providing educational support training; Children are assisted with their homework and adults are provided with computer skills training.

    Computer Skills Training in Session. Future starts today; Our Educational Center provides free comprehensive training in Information Technology and Telecommunications.

    Our Educational Center educates the world's IT Community and that has earned us the reputation as a community leader in offering high technology education. USF is focused on creating unbiased and comprehensive training in computer hardware, software and networking technology for the members of our Community.

     

    USF implements high level training programs that improve worker skills and contribute to the increased productivity and competitiveness of U.S. companies, their workers and the nation.



    USF serves those who otherwise would find obtaining training in information technology difficult due to language, cultural and financial barriers.
    USF is committed to quality free career education to the economically disadvantaged in our community. USF's career education training includes quality free basic, and advanced computer skills, job counseling, job placement, web site designing, resume review, job search and interview skills training, mathematics and reading coaching. USF was established to resolve the problem of digital divide gap that exists in minority and underprivileged communities.

    The eligibility criteria for admission into USF training programs are simple; youths, welfare recipients, single parent, low-income and unemployed, veterans and people with disabilities.


    USF is a minority managed non-profit organization. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, sex, or disability. Applicants using wheel chairs will utilize Our Main Campus at Finns Lane location which is wheel chair assessable. Other arrangements will be made on a case-by-case basis according to individual needs.

    Many people in our community children and adult need training in Information Technology. They do not even have a computer to commence their IT Carrier Training. They are willing to be trained, but the money is not available.
